Re-opening next week

peroni55
Hi all

Could you tell me who intends re-opening after the current lock down. I have had differing answers as to what we can do. Currently we are planning to open.

I've had a reply from Thames Valley Men's Shed.

TVMShed are not opening!
Tier 2 rules state you must not gather with persons outside your support bubble indoors!

Max 6 outdoors.

Hi Brian.  The tier 2 states 'You will not be aallowed to mix with anyone from outside your houdehold or support bubble, indoors either in a private home or public place'.  Before lockdown we were open but sticking to the rule of 6.  Now the tier has gone up 1 we cannot reopen.  Hopes that helps.

Exemptions from gatherings limits in all tiers

For work or providing voluntary or charitable services, including in other people’s homes

I have been looking for an answer to this on the Government web site, and it would seem that you can resume if you are a charity.

See the last section in the following link.
